All of our Eagles are finishing out their classes, taking their last tests; seniors are getting ready to head off to whatever they have planned.
Summer is an exciting time for everybody to enjoy the weather and get away from whatever stresses school can bring.
Soren Schaffer (Junior) said, “I plan on hanging with friends frequently, going on vacation, and playing soccer.” In many cases, our Eagles plan to go out and explore nature in Colorado and all over.
Julian Camacho (Sophomore) plans to “go on hikes and go to a bunch of lakes in Colorado.”
Staying healthy and active in the summer is important, and summer offers so many chances to do all of that and more. Nora Cicotello (Freshman) said she is going to be “hanging out with friends, going to the pool, and the gym.”
Summer trips are fun and exciting. Remember that the school year is not over yet though.
We still have time left, and it is important to be on top of school things so you can enter the long break stress-free.
Just a little bit left, so don’t slack off just yet — finish on a good note.
Whatever your plans are, whether you plan on staying inside to enjoy the free time, or let loose and enjoy all the weather outside, make sure we are making good decisions and staying safe.
With this much free time every year and especially right after the pressure of school, people can get restless and make decisions that they regret. Enjoying the summer is a top priority, but don’t enjoy it at the expense of your future.
With that being said, from me to you, I am wishing the whole school a happy summer, and good luck for the rest of this year.
You got this!
