Avery Schmidt, Editor-in-Chief
Avery Schmidt is a senior at Broomfield High School and is a third year member of the Eagle Way News. This year, Avery is the editor-in-chief, and she is responsible for editing video news stories. She enjoys producing and editing the Eagle Way News video. Avery is also the secretary for National Honor Society and a Blue Crew leader. Her passions include reading and dancing, her favorite book is Where the Crawdads Sing. Outside of school Avery is an assistant teacher at Primrose. After high school, Avery hopes to attend Clemson University to study criminal justice. Avery is super pumped about the college experience, but also nervous. She has a younger brother who is a freshman this year at Broomfield High School. Overall, Avery is looking forward to the connections she will make this year and making senior year the best year yet.
