Iris Stanfill, Editor-in-Chief
Iris Stanfill is a senior and second-year member of The Eagle Way News. She has a passion for both writing and politics, two topics which she enjoys diving into during her free time, as well as during her time in Newspaper. Outside of The Eagle Way, she is a student mentor for BHS Women’s Leadership, a member of French Club and French National Honor Society, and a varsity athlete on the school’s cross country and track teams. As for her life beyond high school, Stanfill hopes to study political science, international relations, and public policy, learning how to best effect positive change in both the world of politics and the world at large. And while she isn’t quite sure what career is waiting for her in the future, she imagines that a pen (or possibly a dais) will be part of the picture.
