Noah Biller, a senior and a three-year starting varsity player for Broomfield’s football team as a middle linebacker, is currently leading the 4A league in tackles with an average of 11.2 tackles a game and 67 throughout the season.
The Broomfield Football team had a dominating season last year with a record of 14-0 and earning the first state championship title since 1984.
Biller was a key component to last year’s successes, having a captain title as a junior, as well as being awarded First Team for the 4A Rocky Mountain League (All-Conference).
Although Broomfield is not having the same success story this year with a record of 4-2, both losses being to cross-town rivals (Holy Family and Erie), Noah has not let this change his mindset.
Biller has been given the title of captain again for the 2023 season.
“Noah has really stepped up and been a phenomenal leader,” said Head Coach Robert O’Brien.
He is not just one of the best defensive players on the football team, but he continues to show his leadership skills in the classroom.
Noah is involved in the “Best Buddies” program, which allows him the opportunity to build relationships with students in the ILC and share his passion to help others regardless of their ability.
