Attention all Eagles! This Saturday is a huge rival basketball game against Holy Family in our Eagle Gym. The night will start off at 4:30 with our girls team taking on the Tigers. It should be an exciting game so make sure those stands are packed. The girls have been preparing all week for their opponent and they are more than ready to take home the win. Team captain, Stephanie Peterson expresses her excitement for the upcoming game. “We have been practicing hard and running a lot all week to prepare for this game. We are all looking for revenge from last year. The entire team can’t wait to get out on our home floor this weekend and show the whole town that it really is one town one team.”  Following the girls is Broomfield’s boys team. After a tough loss on Wednesday, they’re hungry for a win this weekend. Devin Martinez, a captain of the boys team says, “It all starts in practice. We try to be focused and get work done because good practices leads to good games. Everyone has been looking forward to the game since last season, and hopefully our team can end on a high note going into winter break. Even though it’s a big game for us, we can’t hype it up too much, we have to treat it like every other game and dial in and work hard.” Eagles, fill our stands and be loud this Saturday to support the boys and girls team.
