Calling out all writers and theatre kids! The Denver Center for the Performing Arts is once again holding their annual playwriting contest!

Every year, the DCPA accepts thousands of admissions of plays written by high schoolers and middle schoolers. They choose 10 finalists and 3 winners from each category, each winner in high school recieving a $250 reward and a professional reading of their play in April.

This is a huge opportunity for students who want their work heard! I’ve entered into this contest twice and I finished in the top 10 for my first entry sophomore year! It’s possible, Eagles.
