Broomfield High School Thespian Troupe #874 is putting on the Greek Mythology play “Eurydice” (yur-id-dih-cee). The tale is about a girl named Eurydice and the tough decision to come back to life and be with her husband, Orpheus, or stay in the Underworld with her father. The play is being premiered in the Broomfield High School Auditorium in a 3/4s round, which means the audience is sitting onstage in three fourths of a circle.

“I feel like Eurydice is about the moments and the people more than it’s about the scenery.” Jennifer Bryner, the director of Eurydice, says. “Having it 3/4s round means people are able to focus on the people and what’s going on instead of what’s happening around them.”

Eurydice is September 13th, 14th, and 15th at 7:00 p.m. Tickets are $10 at the door. Make sure to be there early—there’s only 70 seats available per night!
