Artist of the Week – Rudy Garcia

I like to draw characters from movies or books. When I’m not drawing I also make sounds for movies and games. I like to use tablets because I can paint, sketch and erase without having to switch and it feels natural. Seeing the finished product really is what keeps me going. People’s praises are nice but it’s what I see that does it. My uncle who got me the tablet is the only other known artist in my entire family. I do want to pursue art in college. I would probably draw characters for movies and video games. I don’t have a particular favorite artist because I mainly focus on improving my own art rather than comparing it.”
