During typical club meetings, members chat with friends until the daily agenda is announced by one of the leaders. The creator of the club is Rachel Gerber (‘25), who leads the club in all activities.
Then, the club splits off into small groups to learn more about one another and to discuss the members’ journeys in their faith if they choose to share.
“The club has grown a lot over the past few weeks,” said Arabelle Mackintosh (‘26). Elizabeth Gerber (‘26) said, “The club used to be about ten people, but it is now close to 45.”
Members of the club have the opportunity to learn how to read a bible as well as meet lots of new people. Just last week, members had the opportunity to take a free bible.
“The club is going really well and it’s a good community that people can be a part of,” said Lauren Gerber (‘26).
There are also days when the club likes to mix things up and do game days and other fun activities.
“The goal of FCA club is to provide a safe area for kids to come and have someone to turn to for help through Christian guidance and give them a safe place to have fun and meet new people,” said Elizabeth Gerber.
“The pizza is great!” said Mackintosh.
