This Friday, February 1 the Broomfield Eagles girls basketball team will be playing against Fairview. The student-elected theme for the game will be sports jerseys, so students are encouraged to wear some kind of jersey. Soccer, basketball, football, baseball, softball, hockey…any kind of sports team from any level, whether it be professional, college, minor leagues, high school, or even an old jersey from a rec-basketball team will work. The game will be at 6:30 PM in Eagle Gym.

Following the game, BHS student council will be hosting the “Overtime Dance” down the hall in the cafeteria. The theme for the dance will also be sports jerseys. At the dance, the cafeteria will be separated into two main rooms, a dance room and a “game” room.

The dance room will include a DJ and a dance floor for those looking to bust a move. The game room will include many games such as giant bowling, giant Jenga, four square, spikeball, and most importantly…food. The TV’s will also be projecting the Denver Nuggets basketball game versus the Houston Rockets.

The dance will be from 8:30 Pm to 10:30 PM and has a $5 admission fee, which will be going towards raising money for Make-A-Wish during the Wish Week charity fundraiser.
