“It was Halloween of 2015 in 8th grade and we decided to go as bananas. We all went to the same store to buy banana costumes and we got matching pants, but no one wore the matching pants except for me, which was kind of sad. We all got golden whistles that we all blew every time we went up to someone’s house. We went trick-or-treating all night long, and we got complimented a lot, and people thought we looked pretty slick. We were bananas.”
