Lunchtime is extremely busy at our school, with everyone focused on the same thing: what they are going to eat. Where do the majority of our Eagles go?
After interviewing 29 fellow Eagles around the school, the top 5 spots our Eagles like to go to grab a quick bite have been ranked.
NUMBER 5: The school cafeteria
3 students out of the 29 stated they stay at school; the students were underclassmen who can’t drive yet.
Hannah Antush (2028) said, “I stay at school for lunch because I don’t have a ride. I don’t get my license until October 30th, but I wish I could go somewhere.”
NUMBER 4: King Soopers
Four students said that they walk to King Soopers. These students, once again, were underclassmen. Liam Tilton (2029) said, “I normally go to King Soopers. It’s fast and easy to get to. I normally just walk with my friends.”
NUMBER 3: Chick-fil-A
Six students said that they like to go to Chick-fil-A. Eden Korn-Zoloto (2027) said, “Chick-fil-A is definitely my go-to spot. I always go on common lunch days with my friends; I look forward to it each week. It always takes extremely long, though. But it is worth the wait.”
NUMBER 2: Raising Canes
Raising Canes came in as a very close second. Seven students said that they normally go to Canes. Äddi Patrick (2027) said, “I go to Canes at least two times a week for lunch. I love their food and it’s just fast. I can always get back to school on time when I go to Canes.”
NUMBER 1: Chipotle
Chipotle has our Eagles’ hearts, with a very close win. Eight students said that they go to Chipotle. Chipotle is extremely busy due to its popularity, so it makes sense that it won. Marbury Wherry (2028) said, “I love Chipotle. No matter what I get it’s always good. It’s nice to get a break from school during lunch, so I always go to Chipotle, and they have endless options. Everyone is always down to go to Chipotle.”
The top five places have been tallied up, and the winner isn’t shocking. Not even just the winner, the top three make a lot of sense if you know how busy these restaurants can get during lunch.
Choose wisely where you’re going to lunch next, Eagles!
