Homecoming is right around the corner (October 4th) and although there is no right or wrong way to go, one thing for sure is not going to homecoming at all is the worst option.
The question becomes, who are you going to homecoming with?
Here’s what a few Eagles have to say.
Based on 22 responses at all grade levels, 9 people from our school are going to homecoming with a date while 13 people from our school are going to homecoming with friends.
Many of the students around the school stated that going with friends to homecoming is easier because there is less planning involved and they feel they will have a more relaxed time. Without the pressure of a formal date, they can move freely between groups and not feel pressured to stay with their date throughout the dance.
For example, Kathryn Meyer (2027) said, “I am going with friends to homecoming this year because I love getting ready with everyone together and love the memories we make while we are together.”
Others around the school going with a date are just as excited to attend homecoming, go to dinner and take pictures together.
For example, Tife Giwa (2027) said, “I am taking my date to homecoming, because I want to spend time and get to know her better.”
There is no right or wrong way to go to homecoming, it is about the people surrounding you and having a good time.
