Spring sports are finally coming up.
They say that the best is saved for last … so let’s show them and show up for tryouts.
Keep in mind that, like Head Coach Jim Davidson says, “Good things happen to people who work hard.”
On February 24, girl soccer athletes need to come prepared for tryouts. There would be three days in total for tryouts, each day starting at 4:15 in the stadium.
There will be three levels once teams are made: Varsity, JV (Junior Varsity), and C-team. There would be about 20-22 players on each team.
Don’t forget there is an informational meeting on Wednesday, January 15 (today!) at 4:00 in Coach Davidson’s room (1119) ~ All interested freshmen are recommended to come.
Last season’s girls’soccer was a bit of a disappointment. Coach Davidson described it as underachieving and more work could have been put in, but this year is a new year and there would be new girls.
The last time the girls soccer team won the state title was 2021. Who knows, maybe this year will be the next state championship season.
Specific Information for girls soccer athletes:
