The Eagles of Broomfield – Francie Traxler

Claire Tetro, Staff Writer

“I started doing theater back in 6th grade, and I fell in love with it just because of the people and the community that forms. Everyone is super supportive and open to people of any kind of community and background. So, back in 6th grade I started really pursuing it, and especially in high school I’ve decided that it’s something I want to continue pursuing and do for the rest of my life. I’m going to major in theater in college, an acting degree. I don’t know where I’m going to college yet, but I do have auditions this upcoming weekend and week in Chicago where I’m doing basically a week full of auditions for different colleges. Eventually, I’m hoping to move somewhere in the city, Chicago, New York, that kind of thing, and pursue a career [in theater]. My favorite actress is Viola Davis because she actually came from a pretty poor background, but she worked her way up and she’s in her like 40’s, and is finally doing what she loves and so she’s just doing it for that reason, not for the fame or the money of any of that.”
