“I really love horse riding and being around horses on the ranch, it is a part of me that I get to have the most fun with. My grandparents own a ranch and 5 horses. Every time I go down to my grandparents house I get new opportunities to ride and work with my grandpa on the ranch or in the mountains. I love horse riding so much because I feel like I can connect with the horse and we have a special bond, this is why when I ride I know the horse I’m riding well and it helps me when I’m working. We go up to the mountains and ride for pleasure or move the cows up, I also ride them in fields or at the ranch near my grandparents house. The horse I always ride is a 6 quarter horse named Honey, he is so amazing and strong and is one of my grandpa’s best horses. I always ride and work with him whenever I can; he is the best horse I could possibly ask for. Horses and being a cowgirl means a lot to me and I work really hard to do anything and everything I can to make my experience better.”
