“I like history a lot because it’s easy to memorize and it just clicks well with me. I try to be imaginative and think about what could have been and what will be in history, and I like to learn from what it teaches people. My favorite section in history has to be the Cold War during the African decolonization, because that seems to be the most interesting topic and it shaped the history of Africa. All of the problems that were seen in Africa are still evident now. So it’s definitely a big period of history to look back on if you want to see what could have been done and what was done to make Africa the way it is today.”
