“Scouts and swimming is all pretty much my life outside of school. [My troop was] at the Air Force Academy, and this weekend we were getting shown around by one of the Wings in Blue guys, it’s a competitive parachuting team, and he asked for a volunteer to get strapped into a training harness and hoist it up like twenty feet in the air. I volunteered, then I got to do it, so I got strapped into a harness and then I was able to basically just hoist up there. Apparently all the Air Force’s money, they’re like super high tech training stuff for all these turbulence instructors grabbing your arms and your legs and shaking you violently, that’s what all your tax dollars go to.”
