Although promposal ideas are endless, the best, most clever proposal this year goes to senior Sean McCulley.

Senior Sean McCulley got creative with his promposal to Emma Wacasey this year. With Emma working at Gold Dust Tanning, Sean said, “I knew she worked at a tanning salon and I wanted to do something creative.” And that is exactly what he did.

Sean went down to Gold Dust Tanning and got himself a spray tan, but not just any spray tan. Sean put tape on his body to spell out the word “prom” and walked out of the tanning booth to surprise her.

Luckily, Emma said yes so the tan was a success. Her reaction was full of laugher. There was no way a girl could say no to that much commitment.

The tan wasn’t too dark but dark enough to see the words. Sean was stuck with the words “prom” on his chest for about three weeks. He walked around with a glow on his skin and the relief of getting a prom date.

Close runner ups for first place were signing a contract (by Sam Foster to Madi Rademacher), Rockie’s games tickets (by Jaxon Pallone to Megan Biesterfeld), writing a song, (Josh Cox and Sophia Stimpfl) and dressing up in a costume (Layton Carrol and Ashlyn Smith).  People tend to get very creative with prom proposals but Sean sprayed the playing field.
